I have a fondness for chthonic pieces.

The aesthetic is derived from the Kirin.

Hopefully the start of a set of twelve to thirteen sculptures based on the Zodiac.

Update

Shocking, I know.

Ragnarok Figure Collection

I have started my Norse themed set of figures organized as a chess set. The planned models are as follow and noted with not complete or completed. Pictures of new things will be on Flickr as I finish them.

Valhalla / Einherjar / Mortals versus Loki's Children /Jötunn / Hel's People

King; Herald of Odin(NC), Son of Ymir (Frost Giant, Completed).

Queen; Valkyrie (NC), Maiden of Hel (NC).

Bishop; Wanderer/Seeress (1/2), Jormundgand Serpent (1/2).

Knight; Rider (Unsure) on Sleipnir foals/colts, (six legs as opposed to, what, eighteen?), Fenrir Wolf Pup, pup being relative(NC).

Rook; Einherjar (deceased heroes and warriors taken to Valhalla, 1/2)), Trolls, (1/2).

Pawns will be simply Runestones. I've already made a few for practice and one is completely finished.

Yokai no Primordial

I'd kill for a volume of the Gazu Hyakki Yakō, a.k.a, The Night Parade of One Hundred Demons. But I'll guess I'll have to settle for my one and Oni.

This. . .

Makes 2:40-3:00 AM awesome.

But this reminds me, I need to take better pictures of my abstract later (which this song inspired)

Once Thought Perished

Although it's not on Waypoint anymore, at least Google cached the blog entry. Search
'These Halo Clay Sculptures are not Natural Formations' and it's right there. Yay.

How. . .

Do I have twelve hours of Armin van Buuren?

As we speak. . . .

Copies of Halo:Reach are being sold to mountain dew zombies. I'll be picking mine up in the morning.

I have nearly finished Noble Team, Jun is the last figure. For Noble-Six, because their appearance is up to the player, I don't think I'll make one for that. I might do something special for that.

Expecting Supplies

I ordered a one pound bar of black clay so I can finish noble team and not worry about running out of the main 'ingredient'. Let's hope it gets here soon.

Now back to going rivethead to various songs, especially XP8 - Forgave.

09/07/10: It's here!

Random Assortment

I bought Bonobo's Black Sands today, it's pretty awesome.

Schiller - Un Solo Minuto. Yes.

I recently found myself looking over Warhammer and War Machine/Horde miniatures again. I am going back to one of my favorite things to do; Race collections. Four to five figures of the same fictional species, filling different classes and castes all with unique looks.

This was the last original I made. Spirit King Vondredi

An intentional misspelling of the french word for friday. Can you guess what Haitian Loa inspired this? He's the next day.

Middle of the Night Post

This is righteous. Futurepop may scare those not used to it's mighty beats. Be forewarned.

New stuff soon, both original and Halo.

Automatique. Automatique. . . Oh yeah and that.

Listening to too much Die Form (Industrial/Ero-EBM/darkwave) can induce sudden urges of gothic statue sculpting.

In other news, my 19th birthday is this Wednesday.

Update 7/12/2010

Been a little while, here's a couple recent things.

Original Piece: Feliceta Viridius

It's like a shark, orca, cat and lizard put together. The membranes for the fins turned into such an awesome color. You can see through it when held up to light.

As a special thank you to my three main people of getting word of my halo-related art out there, I made figures in their images.

bs angel - urk - Louis Wu, respectively.

Planning 5/28/2010

First off, new stuff in the Halo department.

Spartan - Recon V2.

Combat Form - Marine

Fanart section. I have been busy trying to perfect the small scale, Halo: Reach model for Elites/Sangheili.

Feral Sangheili

Sangheili Exemplar

Spartans - Customized S-III - I.T.P. + H.S.S.

Now that I have a good chunk o' cash, I'll be restocking supplies and moving over to original designs.

It's been suggested to me to try a chess set. I don't know if I want historical/fant, Halo chess, or make it a creature feature. Speaking of suggestions, it looks like I'll be doing Noble Team, Reach's main characters, at some point in figure format. That's a set of six figures. It'll be rough.

This needs an Update

So. Yeah. . . Been a while. Random fact time.

Two Halo figurines, one I made last week, the other I made months ago and forgot about.
E.O.D

ODST from I think, February.

In other news, with the Reach beta going on, and that means new models, it's obvious what's coming. III's? Clay? WORT WORT?

I should start a portfolio. I've started Warcraft III terraining again and I will run through the sculpture list of originals that have been brewing for eons. (since Christmas)when I get the money.

More disco then sleep. Bai.

P.S. Frag Grenades need a blast radius nerf. Good lord.

Halo Figurines: November's Upcoming

So I don't have an exact plan of what I'll be making this month and for Christmas. A few things though, I'll be finishing a request, weaving in fanon stuffs and possibly trying a large scale model (either something simple or a deleted flood super form, I'd say) while working on a winter project.

Meanwhile, here's a couple things I recently finished.
